Voice work for speaking professionals

Have you ever found that your voice is hoarse at the end of a teaching day, counselling day, social work day or other speaking profession?

It might just be that you haven't found out how to use your voice properly yet. If you can learn the art of initiating your voice with support then your speaking voice can lift off your throat and stop feeling hoarse. This is in combination with using correct vowels and projection allows your voice to function more efficiently and easily.

The work starts before you make a sound, the support muscles allow the voice to rely less on the vocal chords and more on the breath energy that's generated from the stomach. Exercises can be done to allow the correct preparation before making a sound to promote muscle memory in the support muscles. When voice fatigue occurs there is often a rush to an ENT or larynx specialist, while these specialists are very good it may not fix the original issue. These exercises can be a game changer. Everyone can effectively project their speaking voice to allow for a smooth and warm sound throughout the day and night.
